Remembering the Victims:

The Penny Project

Our goal is to collect one penny for each of the estimated six million Jewish persons killed. The money will then be used to provide programs and resources to educate our community of the results of hatred and bigotry. Join us in Israel June 18-28, 2009- Plans are underway- so make sure you mark you calendar to join us on the Federation's first trip ever to Israel!!!!!!!!

       The PJ Library

In partnership with the Harold Greenspoon Foundation, the Jewish Federation provides books and CDs of Jewish content to families with children of ages 6 months to 6 years.  If you are eligible and interested, please contact the Federation at 815-399-5497.
 

 

Holocaust Speakers  

The Jewish Federation provides speakers to local schools that are studying about the Holocaust.  Goldie Pekarsky and Judy Goldman relate stories of Holocaust survivors.
